Perma launches new bathroom range

2019-10-02

Thanks to Perma’s new Power Suction Bathroom range, drilling holes in tiles or sticking tape on walls are something of the past!

While Perma has always been well-known for its double-sided tape and nail-on picture mounts as well as kitchen, bathroom and baby safety products, the brand is moving into a new direction with its bathroom accessories. The Power Suction Bathroom range do not make use of double-sided tape when being mounted, but thanks to new suction technology, it comes with superior suction cups, with each cup holding 2kg.

The range consists of 10 products including a toilet paper holder, soap dish, toothbrush holder, bathroom hook and various towel rails and shelves. Made from strong and long lasting plastic, the bathroom accessories are very durable and easy to clean. Says Wéhan van Jaarsveld, Perma Brand Manager: “We are very excited about the new range that makes the need for screws, nails, hooks or mounting tape obsolete. Not only are the products super strong, they are also beautifully designed with elegant and contemporary lines.”

The Power Suction range is suitable for use on various surfaces, including porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, glass, wood, metal, stainless steel as well as plastic. The range provides instant suction, which makes them easy to use and hassle-free. An added benefit is that all products are completely re-usable, so they are great for removing and applying elsewhere. The suction cups will not cause any damage to the surface area where it has been applied.

“With a large percentage of South Africans renting property these days, the range affords them the opportunity to spruce up their bathrooms with stylish accessories without needing to drill holes in the walls,” says Wéhan. “Many homeowners also prefer not to drill holes in tiles as they can be difficult to cover up once products are removed, or tiles can crack while drilling in to them, or worse – there can be hidden water pipes behind them!”

Since Perma has become part of the Permoseal family in 2017, the brand continues to increase its footprint in South Africa and further afield. “Already leveraging off Permoseal’s professional distribution, sales and merchandising network, we have big plans in place to introduce other new offerings, so watch this space!” says Wéhan.
